If you can afford it get the lower mileage one (depends on how many miles you do though)

    What's the price difference?

I'd say it depends totally on the particular vehicle you end up choosing.
Don't limit yourself to 05 onwards, but also don't think you can only afford an 04 for low miles... there's a lot of selection at the moment so you can afford to be choosy.
At end of day, overall condition, short term cost of ownership and features that I wish for are the factors that tend to influence my choices.

Consider also resale between a B7 with 110K+ miles or a late model B6 with 60K miles will likely favor the B6 as many will simply pass by on anything over 100K - thereby limiting your future resale market.

Low mileage everytime! The 05 will be much harder to sell with high miles.

spot on there. As soon as I see a car on autotrader with over 100k on it, I click.. 'next'! - doesnt matter what the price is, generally people are put off by high mileage cars - even if it is a B7.

Get on Auto Trader mate, you can get a B7 with less than 60k for that paper. Although I'd say it's definately worth going for one with top spec. Heated leather etc..
I've got my go go go go go go go go go go gadget flow.
