Hi, had my sleep disturbed last night by an alarm going off really close by. Turned out it was the wife's A6! For a reason past my comprehension, the radio turned itself on and flattened the battery, which in turn set the alarm off. She's been having problems recently with the interior lights coming on during driving, and last year the windows dropped/rose by themselves (see other posts). I've got the battery on charge at the moment, so hopefully all will be ok, but what I wanted to know was...has anyone experienced anything similar with the radio/electrics?
    Thanks in advance,
    Leo.

Check your passenger footwell for damp. Take the carpets up if need be. There was an Audi re-call about this, Plenum chamber fault. Basically your drain holes beneath the battery could be full of, sh... well anything, but only certain models qualified for the re-call. What the criteria was I don't know.
