    hi all im in need of help here ive a 1998 vw passat tdi red i 115bhp its got 215k on clock it been driving great until i decided to change the water in the system as theres been no antifreeze in the rad and it been cold here like freezing,
    anyways i drained her down and when i did there was a lot of rusty water so i thought the theromastate was rotton i took it out and its like new i replaced it anywayz filled up the system and now it pressurizing i dident boil it as i wasent driving it after i drained it down o yea i put bars flush in first thinking it would clear its self (rust i mean) pipes on the car at the tops of them are hot and bottom of them cold can anyone offer me some help is the engine done

    you could have a air lock or you head gasket could have gone

    well jsut getting back now with the solution dam head cracked just got a new engine in her only now the timing in the diesel pump needs adjusted car runs great when started but hard to start ok i done the heater plugs and still the same so its the timing on the diesel pump any ideas how to set it up guyz and can a novice do it thanks again
