can any one tell me what the second pump on the cooling system does found to be not working full of scum and what looks like radweld

If the pump you are refering to is the one down under the rad,the electric one,its an afterun pump to circlulate the coolant on turn off round the block and head to stop warpage of the head and joint,head is Alloy// block is Cast.
It only actuates at a temperature off between 217 - 219 degrees F and is fired off a 2nd sensor on the engine.
