Thread: Boot light dead.

    Default Boot light dead. – 04-03-2008,12:33 PM
    My boot light, both sides are dead. As the rear roof light responds to opening/closing the boot door, I dont think the latch switch is the problem. What to look for next? (checked all fuses of course).

    May seem obvious but i assume you've checked the bulbs, not un-common for them both to pop, if one goes can throw extra load on t'other, had a similar issue with mine a while back, may not be your issue but worth a look.

    Well It all started as I found both bulbs blown. But measuring with a multimeter at the sockets, there is no voltage at eather of the sides, so a new bulb was clearly not the answer anymore. (I was planning to install LED replacement SV8/8.5 bulbs)
    In another thread I have mentioned that I also had the power windows die on me. Any connection here maybe ?
