Turbo kits for V6 4Motion - anyone using?

Hi all,

Rather than buy something obvious (R32), that will get nicked like my last car (Impreza), I've just bought myslef a V6 4Motion and was wondering whether anyone had any experience of turbocharging them?

I've found a whole wealth of sites that offer kits and a number of places in the UK that will supply/install. However, this secondary option seems expensive as they appear to just end up charging you a premium for a kit you could buy cheaper direct anyway. Then VAT gets added and the labour charge is fairly horrendous.

Looks like I can get a fairly good kit (albeit for RHD) for around GBP 4,000 (incl VAT & Duty).

Also, any recommendations (or otherwise), obervations, personal experiences etc would be greatly appreciated.

Personally i would only go for a Garrett turbo but that is just my preference. Are you from the US?

No, I'm in the UK. I THINK the turbos quoted are Garretts, but would confirm before I bought.

If you go to the VR6 owners club you'll find quite a few boys there with turbo's and superchargers including some R32's I think
