Hi, First post so hi . I am in the process of looking for a B5 model (1.8). Every car I see has the black triangle (rear window) blistered. Is this easy to replace? It seems pretty stuck-in to the frame.

Another weak point seems to be the plastic trim at the base of the driver's door. Where it attaches to the door seems to rust and this can even come out in the plastic! Has anyone replaced this at a dealer's (or otherwise).

    Thanks. Jules.

Hello, I've also got the same bubbles on my 2001 B5 window trim....... and I hate them!! I actually purchased 2 new bits of trim, paid about £40 for the pair, but getting them off ain't easy. Apparently you need to take the 'top frame' of the rear door, then that means you need to re-allign the window glass, all sounds too tricky to me, so if anyone can offer advise I would be keen to learn

    Cheers

    Dave

OK, I just spoke to the dealer about this. Down at their bodyshop the price is as follows .. £20 for part, £70 for labour + VAT. Total is £105.75 (per side).

    That clears that one up.

Didn't ask. I'll let you know if I buy the car.
