    hi all my boot wont lock,, i am going to replace the washer jet tube as described on the site.. i can get a new lock and handle from the scraper for £5 it has NO keys!!! if i install this will it lock and unlock using the cental locking button??? pls help thanks j

    Atm It Wont Lock Using Keys Or Remote,,i Can Hear The Boot Makin A Sound Like Its Trying To Lock When I Push The Button,,the Key Will Not Fit In The Hole Either Feels Like Loadsa Grit In There?? Any Ideas,,i Saw New Locks On Ebay For 25

    might be a solenoid that is screwed, the grit in the lock may just need some lubrication

    IV TRIED LUBIN IT ALREADY M8,,THERE IS THIS ON EBAY SHOULD http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...:MEWA:IT&ih=00 I GET THIS?? ANY IDEA IF THIS CAN BE LINKED TO MY CENTRAL LOCKING???

    worth a try i suppose, if the remote part works as a consequence then you are 50% there. then when you have the current lock off, you can set aboute cleaning and investigating if you can swap the lock barrels over to keep th key working.

    If you get some or all of it fixed, you'll be mighty proud of your self.
