    Default Passat Wagon 2005 door won't open – 24-01-2008,12:45 AM
    can anyine offer me some advice. The rear door of my Passat Wagon 2005 refuses to open from the inside or out. I took it to the dealer and they recommend cutting the door off and replacing it. This seams drastic and the quote is ridiculous. i checked with VW customer care and they have refused to assist with the cost.

    does anyone have a way of getting the door open?

    thanks for the reply, some of the suggestions seam reaonable except with the door firmly shut i have no way of getting the interior panel off to check the wiring etc. however i will try the autolocksmith to see they can help.
