    A4 TDI 130 SE 20001 73000M

Hello again guy, I am sick to death of cars breaking.

I drove home from work this evening, My car was fine.
After a hard weeks graft I ordered my friday night curry from the take away and headed down to pick it up , Start my car , 1st gears fine, 2nd gear 1200-1600 no power at all , get to 2000 all power returns and car boots it up to speed, I decided to take it for a drive down the local bypass , its fine at high speed , it only seems to occur at low revs, 1200- 2000 rpm is , just nothing happens , I put my foot down and I go knowhere, 3-6 second delay after applying right foot.

Filled up half a tank of shell vpower 3 days before problem started.

    HELP.....

** NOTE .u may have noticed I posted another problem last week, this was a friends car ***

Ok , i have found the sensor and disconnected it, All power has returned ! ! yipeee..

I gather this is a failing MAF sensor ?

Should I get a new one and is it safe to drive around with it disconnected.

Ok , i have just been for a spin with the MAF disconnected, The car was still under powered but much more drivable, almost like a non turbo diesel.

I came back home and reconnected the MAF sensor, took her out for another drive and It working fine now , all power has returned ? WEIRD

You comments or advise please ?
