Gear 3 gets blocked or grinds

Please help me, i'm having problems with shifting to gear 3, its either blocked somehow or its grinds. what could be the problem.

Hi There is only one thing that can cause this fault and that is the 3rd gear syncromesh

that does make sense. does it mean that i have to change my gearbox? is there other solutions beside that?

Hi A lot depends on what you can get a replacement gearbox for,be it new or second hand.No matter what you do the gearbox has to come out,and when first out its not that big a job to replace the syncromesh.
