    Is there any noticeable differences between the 1.9 and 2.0?

    Yes 2.0 is 140 bhp and does have a bit more go.. I know the passat is a smaller vehicle than the alhambra but it does have more punch.

    not as economical as expected averages abt 45mpg mixed driving... the same as the alhambra...expected to get a bit more, maybe I use the performance available more,

    will try and keep accelleration and speed down a bit and see what happens, still only 7k miles on clock so might still be tight engine

    I am extremely happy with my 90hp Audi but I would love to get it to the same as yours although I expect the economy would drop a bit due to a heavy right foot.

    Welcome to the site.

    I am new to both the site and being a VW Passat owner.

    Only had the car for a few weeks now and I am very pleased with it.
