    Question A4 tdi 03 DIS-Dash display-fault – 19-11-2006,08:14 PM
    I have a 2003 TDI A4 and the Driver display system in the centre of the dash has completely disappeared. Not sure what sort of fault this could be? any ideas ?

    Could just be the backlight bulb needs changing. The LED displays on most cars require a simple bulb to make them visible. It might fix it, it might not. Good luck with it.

    Can't believe other more capable people couldn't have thought of that before now, even as a suggestion!!!!!

    I'm not saying I know everything, (I don't!) but suggestions would be good, give the lad some pointers what he could be checking!

    Could it simply be switched off? There's a button on the underside of the wiper stalk that cycles the DIS through diplay 1, 2 and off - try that.
