hi all.

can anyone help me.
i have a 1994 audi 80 1.9 TDI.
first thing in the morning or if the engine has been sitting more than an hour or so,it is very hard to start. the colder it is the harder it is.
it turns over no prob, but it just wont fire, this morning it took 6 attempts at around 10 seconds at a time to get it going, and even then it seems like its running 2 or 3 cylinders for about 15 seconds or so,then the revs return to normal. and it runs a little bit lumpy for a further minute, then its perfect.

been told the relay for the glow plugs could be the cause, any idea where this is located and what color it should be, as there is so many relays on the car, it could be any of them

or does anyone have any ideas of what the problem could be??

any help would be very helpfull.

cheers
