    Hi,

I have an audi A4 TDI SE 2003 with a concert cd tuner which I've just bought. Looking in the manual, I can't find the controls to pause or mute!
Does this means it can't do those things?!

    Thanx.

Ok, thanks for that. A bit surprisingly not to have mute or pause on an Audi!

    Another quickie please:

What are the signs of the battery in the remote central locking key going?
The range seems ok but sometimes I have to use the key to lock/unlock instead of the remote locking.

Not too sure on that one, could always test them on a multimeter or you could always just buy some new ones and if it don't make a difference save them for when yours do go.

New batteries are around £2.50 each from Audi.

    Hi,

Thanks for that. The dealer ran diagnostics on the ECU (which they do anyway if the car is in for a service, it was in for the 2nd longlife one) and they said everything appeared ok, no faults indicated. When I asked them what were the batteries like in both the fob and spare, they said they worked ok but didn't actually open to see what the voltages were. To replace the batteries and resynch they were asking nearly 50 quid! I'm sure you can do it by reading the manual?!

Also, they wanted nearly 80 quid to replace the brake fluid (done every 2 years) which is not part of the main service but is an additional check!
