The wife as asked to move the 2001 S4 Avant in the week. It was a cold start after a frosty night, she moved it just 50 yrds. Later in the day she went back and the car would not start.

I tried it when I got in and it sounded like the starter solenoid was not engaging as there ware cranking sound but the engine would not fire. Called the RAC, he straight away said it was flooded and asked the wife to crank it. After a considerable time it cleared and fired into life.

It has never happened before, is it know issue or just a blip. Had an ECU warning due to O2 sensor warning on bank A the week before which my mate cleared. Does not seem to have back. Could it be related ?
