    please help
    the brakes on my 1996 a4 tdi are practicley non exsistant .
    I have to pump pedal to get brake ,even when stoped with engine runing I PUMP pedal ,get hard pedal , press pedal and it slowly goes to the floor.
    I have replaced master cylinder ,and then servo problem still persists. no brake fluid leaking???

    Has the car abs ? If it has ,then chances are that air got into the pump and will need bleeding( see the procedure on rosstech site !) with diagnostic equipment-Vag com. Also you may wanna bleed the brakes and chech the biasing valve on the back of the car as when they stick it does make bleeding a pain in the butt.
