hi i had the wifes golf gt tdi 130 done 3 years ago along with my passat 2.5 tdi estate and the differance was noticable, Most re-maps quote around 170 for the 130 and 185bhp for the 150 so yes its worth getting it done, I used Celtic tuning for both our cars and had no issues at all. Best thing money can buy.

Just to add i jumped into a 130 golf a few months ago this was a totally standard car it drove as if the turbo had been taken off, dramatic differance when chipped. both the golf and the passat have around the same 0-60 time of around seven seconds so i would estimate a chipped 150 would be in the low 6 second mark 0-60.

Where are you based? We have the STS unit on offer at the moment which allows you to apply the map yourself at home, switch back to standard at your wish and immobilise the car if you need to!
