Hi, I am currently looking at buying some g60 winter wheels for my 1992 passat, I currently have 185 65 R14's and am looking to fit the g60 steel wheels with 195's however, i dont cannot find anywhere that shows the conversion to keep the overall diameter the same, do I need to fit 195/60/15's or 195/55/15's? any help would be appreciated,

    Dave

    Hi

If you google tyre calculator, this one comes up first: http://www.miata.net/cgi-bin/tirescgi
195/55-15 are 0.1% smaller than your original 185/65-14"
205/50-15 are 1.7% smaller which is still a fairly good match and might be more common/cheaper?
