As we all know there are some really great old Sandwiches to be savoured... but what do people really like:

    My favourite has to be:

    Beetroot
Cheese (Chedder, grated not sliced, grated tastes so much better)
    Pickle (branston)
    Cucumber
    and either:
    Chicken in Mayo
    or
Tuna in Mayo with or without sweetcorn.

Other greats I have had include:

    Chorizio and Mozzarella
    Crayfish and Smoked Salmon
    Chicken and Chorizio.

So, over to you lot. What's your favourite, and some others. Then we can look through them and try one or all of them out.

Posting our comments back on here.

Simple, almost the same as yours though:
    Sliced beetroot,
    Grated cheese,
    Tuna mayonnaise.
    Washed down by either:
    Beer,
1/2 and 1/2 mix of Apple juice and mineral water.
Who knows, maybe followed by a cherry bakewell.

    Steak and onion.

An unusual favourite of mine is peanut butter & cheese & onion crisps. Very crunchy.

dammit, im waiting for the bun wagon to arrive at work.

after reading this thread, i have got no chance of waiting til lunchtime to eat it. really hungry now.

i love most things with raw onion in.

tuna mayo, salad, raw onion, a bit of vinegar and cracked black pepper is probably my favourite. bread needs to be a tasty granary or brown too. (unless its asda tiger bread)
