Polo is not as tough as VW make out.

Previous Polo had a new gearbox under warranty at 25000 miles.

Current 03 polo 30,000 miles new wheel bearing, replacement brakelight switch, Headlamps replaced. They started to go opaque.

Does your Polo make a rubbery squeek going along the road or when you change gear. It will be the rubber bushes on the bottom wishbone that have collapsed. Replaced tham as well.

Pity it is a nice car to drive but this is the last one. Heading east for reliability
