Considering getting a 130 TDi Sport. Wondering if the suspension is lowered at all or if it's just harder? Also what's the interior spec - is it equivalent to the S/SE or highline? thanks L

The suspension is wayyyyyyy better. Its stiffer and lowered by about 25mm.

It makes the car handle rather than float. The ride is not harsh but more comfortable for passengers.

But don't be mislead into thinking the handling is great because its still no BMW or Audi.

Concerning trim levels, Sport cars start off life intended as S models (well mine did according to the manuals) and have mods to the suspension, a six speed box and 16" wheels added on the line.

Problem is, with all the options available, comparing cars is going to be tricky.

For example, mine has cruise, rain sensing wipers, auto dip rear view mirrors, heated seats and multi-function control steering wheel that wouldn't have been a standard fit for 2003.

You will have to look at the spec of each car you wish to buy and compare them for the items you need and decide whether you are prepared to shell out

ah well, not exactly what i wanted to hear. Want the stiffer suspension but need the car fairly high as i'll be heading down farm tracks in it. Looks like I'll be going with the SE or above (if i find a good deal)
