Audi A4 130 Tdi 2003 - Indicator Lights Fault

I have developed a fault on my Audi. The onboard computer flashed up to say that the left front indicator light was not working. I arranged for the bulb to be replaced and the new bulb work for all or about 10 minutes and then the computer flashed up again to say there was a fault.

I have checked the bulb and it is working. The same fault has now appeared on the right side too.

The fault has not affected the Side indicator light (on the Wing) nor the Rear indicator lights.

Does anyone know what the problem might be and how i set out repairing it?

The bulb holder burns out, you'l see very slight marking on the holder if you remove it. Can sometimes get away with new holders but you maybe looking at a new headlight.

hi there m8 ive had the same problem with my audi on the adjacent side .
I have ended up buying a new headlight unit i had water damage around the connectors and have caused the indicator to stop working i bought a brand new 1 from my audi specialists for £76.69+vat
