i have a 2002 golf gt 130 and the drive shaft boot spilt quit a while ago and now it feels very slightly rough while driving it could be just coisedence but i`am sure its the nukle on the joint thats nackerd any ideas i thought it was the link arms but i have replaced them it`s still there.

If the boot split i bet the CV joint was dry and dirt got in. You will need to get a new CV joint + a new boot kit. Remember to change the circlip and the plastic+metal washers that come in the box plus discard the driveshaft holding bolt and replace with the new one supllied. Torque to the values given in haynes manual.
