Completed an oil change on my 1.9tdi 130bhp Passat yesterday. Thanks to the poster who specified the correct oil. While underneath the car (on the offside) I noticed that there was a slight oil residue at the bottom of the intercooler as well as on the sump cover when i took it off. I checked the hoses and the flanges and they seem to be ok. I havent lost much oil either in the last few months in which I bought the car. Any one any idea what it could be causing it?
