y reg 2001,after overnight frost,my brakes lock and i'm unable to drive off.The pedal remains down as if the fluid is not returning.Once car is running and all warms up the brakes release but still rub.Have replaced all vacume hoses with limited success. Now seems to be going bad again.40,000 miles on clock surely not the servo. Please help

Just an update for anyone interested. Now it appears when engine turned off the pedal goes really stiff but returns to normal when turned on.Though the brakes are still siezed on.

All the brakes or one wheel?? I suppose it is possible for a rusty master cylinder to sieze down, can you pull the pedal up to release it??
