Mk3 Golf colour

Hi all, just bought a daily hack, a 1996 8v Golf GTi 5dr, its in a dark purple colour. Can someone tell me what that colour is officially called...?

I have an original sals brouchure from 1995 for golf mk3s (came with my 94 driver and strangley doesnt list GTi`s!) it lists a Twilight Violet Pearl Effect (LC4T)

which is this colour...



I`m guessing that colour?

if you look at the handbook it should tell you where to find the paint code, it`ll tell you that the sticker with the info on is in the boot of your car when that sticker is actually in the front of the book!

Stcker in the boot isn't there, nor is any info on paint code in handbook, but i have see a code of DFQ LC5L on the original pre-delivery inspection document....any ideas??

Hi The colour code LC5L is Mysticblue met so not sure if that is the colour?? Im not sure whether they put this colour under Blue or Purple? Hope this helps might be right but not totally sure, Sorry.

Cheers for that mate, Mystic Blue Pearl effect seems to be the one....
