    Hi mate,

Sorry to say this.... i think "she" may of gone to heaven....

just checked on the DVLA website to see if it has any Road tax on it, (see link below)

    http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/Evl...vent=link.next

If it comes back with no info, Then you would have to call DVLA
I have just checked a J plated Vauxhall my dad had, the the tax expired on Date of Liability 31 05 2002

And checked a few other dating back to a C plate...
    Date of Liability 01 11 1999
    Date of First Registration 11 09 1985

Good luck... You could always ring the DVLA and give them the reg plate to see if there is tax on it..

    Rick

Awful init? I just checked a few of my old cars and a MKIII Tina estate my dad sold about 8 years ago in excellent condition. It would appear to have died in September last year.
    One German, Two Italian.
    It's a Mercedes Benzzzz though

Cheers RickT . I just used it for checking if my old Rolls-Royce was still going. To me and my wife greatest surprise it is!!! CNB 435M was the plate from 1974. That does make me feel old LOL. I rebuilt that thing, it used to be blue, it was a state, it had tyres with white sidewalls, it looked ridiculous! I owned it because I had a wedding car business, so it made me money. I also had 3 Mercs at the time, but they have all died now...

ERM why??? If you love a car that much then you don't sell it, even if it is an "uneconmical repair". If a car is a love affair then you put whatever it takes to keep it for your own and it usually takes a lot of time and money to do so. If you sell it then it no longer becomes your concern unless it goes to someone you know
You may think I'm being helpful yet sarcastic, this is only because I feel I need to help you to help yourself in the future
