    Default A4 Advant 96 Cen Locking Prob – 16-02-2008,07:08 PM
    hello there guys

    my central locking has stopped working. As the car is a 1996 model there is no fob, it all works from my key on any door.
    I have changed the pump but the new 1 is the same. When i have attached a new positive feed straight from the batterey is started to work !

    does any body have a wiring diagram or can tell me what to check. I can confirm that there is no power getting to the pump by the original wire.
    Any help will be much appreciated

    THANKS KENNY BUT I HAVE ALREADY CHECKED THE FUSE AND THINK IT COULD BE A BREAKAGE IN THE WIRE

    Hi You have also a 15amp fuse on the 8-point relay carrier (position24) which is for the centeral locking
