Premium Telephone problem

I have the integrated Premium telephone kit and have recently got a Nokia 6500S on the 3 network. While I can get the car to connect to the handset via bluetooth and look at the SIM via SAP, I am unable to view the phone book in the car and get 'no network' when I try and use the thing. Any ideas? I bought the car secondhand so have never connected a phone to it before so i don't know if it's the phone or the kit that's the problem. My VW dealer doesn't know too much bu thinks you may have to connect to the charging unit in the centre armrest which defeats the object of the bluetooth link!

the premium telephone kit is effectively a Nokia kit. I know that the 6300 works very well with it; I have my phonebook on the computer, and have had no problems as yet.

My local dealer know nothing about the car kit, perhaps best to get hold of VW Customer Service and ask them, although their team which developed the kit are "non customer facing," so good luck with that!
