    Hi guys!

I have 2002 A4 130 TDI Avant & if you've read some of my other threads I have been having some power loss problems in wet conditions only. I think water is gathering near ECU and is causing the problem. When water clears problem goes away. Is there a drainage hole near the ECU housing on the drivers side which maybe partially blocked. If so, can anyone advise how to get at it? Pictures would be great!

Hi I doubt very much what you say,if water gets into the ECU then there is a 99% chance it will be buggered.I would be more inclined to think there was a connector somewere which is getting wet.I recall a technical write up about water getting into the air mass meter G70,it comes from the air flow hose and occurs only when it rains.Have you done a fault code read?

As kenney says, I doubt this is your problem but the drainage holes are beneath the battery, and I believe there is another one somewhere near the brake servo.
