    ey all

I cant get any cold air into my car A4 B6, but my tube going into the dashboard really freezes, so I think the car is producing cold air, somehow it just cant get in the car. Im having no trouble getting warm air. Any ideas?

first picture is when car is not running, and second is when aircon has been on for only 5minutes.

    Thanx - Dan

Wrong pipe is cold. Thick pipe should be stone cold - thinner one slightly warm. I had a similar problem on mine. System had to be degassed and there was a little cone shaped gauze where the pipes split that was clogged. It was replaced and the system worked well for a couple of years. It is doing the same again but I havent got around to getting it fixed yet.

That looks like it. The air con guy called it a reed plate. The system needs de gassed before changing it.

Thanx a million I have been pulling my hair to figure what the problem was. I suspected the reed plate, but I just didnt want to get a regas just to find out it didnt do the trick. Your experience confirms my thought, and I'll try that for starters. Thanx again
