Hi Folks ,I know this is a stupid question really ,but I have to ask it ! A friend of mine has scrapped his Audi A4 ,and has sold me his alloy wheels .I intend to fit them to my T reg Passat (90 bhp TDI). Assuming all VW /Audi models have the same hubs on those models ,then I,ll be ok ! OR AM I MAKING THE WRONG ASSUMPTION??? The Passat runs on 195 /15, s and the Alloys are 205/15,s. Just a matter of looking for a badge to replace the ones in the wheel centre? If there is such a thing ! Thanks folks.

Man, that's a BIG assumption, however, having quickly checked ETKA you're not entirely lucky - the Audi A4 wheels (certainly for the year 2000) are 5x112 and ET45ish offset, which are not quite right for the Passat, which needs an ET of about 30 to fit properly.

This means your A4 rims will appear 'pinched' in on the Passat and won't give you a good look (I know, I tried Leon wheels, which are the same spec).

Thanks for that Diamond .Not exactly sure how your calculations work out ,but I tried the wheels the other day ,and they seem fine ! Would it be wrong to think that Audi ,s and vw ,s on 15ins steels are using the same steel wheel centre ,so allowing for the dimensions of those being the same ,and Audi alloys fitting the Audi ,then they logically should fit the Passat ,and appear to do so . The extra 10 cms seems to accomodated ok ,with no closeness to either the wing outer or the strut - but time will tell Cheers now. ( I think the alloys were off a N reg actually)
