Hi all, I own a vw golf 2004 FSI model, bought in Oct 07. Sod's law, after the warranty expired in Jan, driver side mirror stopped heating up and would not demist at all. Left side door mirror demists in seconds! Any idea anyone where the problem could be originating from, and those who have had similar problems, how much does it cost to get fixed?. Cheers.

If it's a fault in the maze of circuitry that's printed on the back of the mirror then a new glass will cost you about £35.

I know that because some scumbag nicked the mirror glass from my car overnight whilst it was parked outside my house.
