    Default Horn on my 97 A6 – 10-02-2008,10:34 PM
    I just moved to Chicago and noticed that my horn on my 97 A6 in no longer working. I checked the fuse and that is not the problem. Not sure what to look for next.

    In the states they just shout out of the window !! Could be the wire ---earth under the horn in the centre ---just be careful on the airbag Also check the horn at the front of the car ----- they get full of water sometimes ---spray WD 40 in it

    normally it's water damage in both horns, or out of tune so they do not buzz.

    It is possible to get them working again, but you need to take them out, and have a play with the adjusting screw(torx) and then seal in it it's new postion with glue
