    hi there everyone, please help!!!

this car of mine VW Golf MK3 K reg had spongy brakes, but it went to the mot and failed.
ok, i replaced the back and front brakes, bled bled bled about 10 times and still spongy,(brake paddle goes half way down).
took the brakes of and replaced them back and replaced the brake cylinders aswell, then i presure bled them 3 times and still spongy.
checked everywhere for leaks. so i replaced the master cylinder, still spongy!!.
vacuum pipe and the round thing all ok.
so i got a brake pipe crimper and one by one eliminating the brakes, when i crimped the drivers side rubber brake tube my paddle went hard or as it ment to be.removed the caliper and checked it , but it looks ok, i went to the scrappyard and borrowed it and installed it and bled but the spongyness was still there.
im at a loss, please help.

I also have a K reg, and have the exact same problem.. Have not tried all of what you have done, but am living with it. Though have not had the M.O.T. yet, and am now worried due to yours failing.. Might be something that cannot be helped!!

mot guy said the brake paddle distance was too much, gave me 10 days to repair but couldnt meet the deadline.

its seems to that by crimping the brake pipe and eliminating that caliper the brake paddle goes down less then half way , but take the crimp tool of causes the brake paddle to go down 3/4 down.
