    Hi Can Anyone Tell Me If Castrol Magnetic Oil 10w-40 Oil Would Be Suitable To Use In My Bora 1.9 Tdi....cant Seem To Get Any Answers Off Vw Themselves Thanks :-)

    sorry for such a late reply not been on the net in a while. The engine code is AJM, but since my post I actually went down to a genuine VW dealer and they siad that they use 5w 40 but I have 10w 40 and they say that as it is fully synthetic that it would be ok to use. Thanks mate.

    I don’t know of a PD suitable 10W/40 oil. Check that it is to VW standards 505.00, 505.01, 506.01 or 507.00.

    it actually says "sutable for vw 505 00" plus vw say i will be alright with this so thanks for that.
