iv had a major f**k up and need help.
1999 golf tdi, had to replace fuel temp sensor in the pump. i cocked up and removed the wrong section to start, removed the section below the temp senso, the part with what looked like a plunger, fitted it straight back on after checking the seal. continued to replace the sensor.
bleed the pump of all air, but now will not start.
no faults in engine system or immobiliser.
    tryed bumb starting, still nothing.

    i desperatly need help.

(also if i remove the pump to have it checked or fit another one, will it need coding in.)

i hope someone can help. please contact on here or on puddweiser@hotmail.com

I have a pump if you get stuck for one , I bought it used but have not got round to fitting it, it was taken off a 2000 golf tdi with 95k on it the part number is

    vag part number 038 130 107D, bosch part number 0 460 404 977
it has the 10 pin plug.

Fitting the pump involves removing the timing belt and redoing the timing, you need proper gear to do this and vagcom.

If you want the pump you can have it for £120 delivered.

i gotta check the park number on monday and il get back to you, thank you.
does the pump need to be coded in using vagcom, or is that just to check the timing. i think the immobiliser runs through the pump and worried the pump wont match to the immobiliser or key.

The pump wont be effected by the immobiliser, it should just plug in and work.
