(Blimey... I could have easily posted this one in another tread. Talking about hitting two stones with one bird)
the Dutch???.....great people (we have a factory & office facility out there) APART FROM the prat who complained that my (then) 2 yr old was running up & down our mobile home,( ..ok..big caravan) at the ungodly hour of 6pm (it was peeing down with rain, so he needed to run off some steam)!!! This idiot's mobile was 20 yards away!! SO...I waited for 5 minutes & charged up & down the mobile for 20 minutes!!!
    ps I'm about 15 stone...so can make a hell of a racket!
    pps...He didn't complain either!

What about the Rover driver who joins the empty dual carriageway and pulls right into the overtaking lane. That same dual carriageway becomes a three lane motorway (still empty) and said Rover driver pulls into the fast line.

One day I'll stop him just to see if he's foreign and prove my theory that he thinks he's still in his homeland and thus the right hand lane is the inside lane

I think i've seen that very same rover driver..... He flashed at me and made several strange hand gestures, as i undertook him on the inside lane, of an empty motorway.

I remember a few years ago when it was still Chris Tarrant doing the breakfast show on Capital radio, they had a good laugh with the idea of letting people drive on the motorway as part of the driving test. When I told my friends, they also had a good laugh and thought it was a rediculous idea...

I had the last laugh though when I went on a long weekend trip to belgium with that same set of friends. They were positively shocked about the fact that nearly everyone was moving over on the motorway. Yes we have middle lane driver in Belgium as well (my dad used to be one of them until I told him off) but there are far less of them and driving down the motorway over there is a much more unjoyable experience.

At least we're thought on how to drive properly on a motorway. What happens in the UK? You're never allowed onto one until you got your drivers licence. Then all of a sudden you're deemed capable... What a joke.

    Yup, I hate Golf too.
But I do like footy, Formula 1 and Le Mans.
I hate shopping too. Too boring and costs too much.
I hate the fuel prices, just put £50 in my A6 only just over 3/4 full. 107.9p a litre!!! Aaaarggggghhhh!

i love golf, although not when i play badly.

at the moment i would like to fill room 101 with ebay sellers who give negative feedback to buyers who do nothing wrong and have to leave negative feedback for shoddy service received.

    [rant]

i recently bought 2 items from the same seller (on separate days, but close together) i paid asap after the auction then waited for delivery.

one item arrived normal post, when i had paid extra for recorded delivery. the item was also the wrong colour to what i asked for.

the other took over a week for him to post (apparently lost in the post) his comms were ok, but "short" in temper.

so, i leave fair feedback on the matter, one negative (delivery issue) the other neutral. i then receive negative for both, saying that i had no comms, and i only leave negative FB and i should be avoided.

it irritates me, as i havent done anything to deserve that feedback.

    [/rant]

there, i got it off my chest.

Or people who can't be bothered to leave feedback. I go to the trouble of doing it only for them not to bother. Pity you can't withdraw feedback.

I sympathise with you both. I do e-bay a lot too. I'm at 234 still 100% positive, don't know how long that'll last though. I've only ever (almost) been conned twice, but I was the winner both times. I bought a set of Vauxhall mudflaps, (dirt cheap £10!) and was then told bluntly by the seller that "I ain't letting them go for £10." I had already paid, got Paypal involved who banned him. Result. The worst thing that happened to me was when I was e-mailed by someone who had stolen another e-bayer's username and sent me an e-mail threatening to sue me because I was selling another Vauxhall workshop manual like him. I thought what the **** and clicked on the link to his workshop manual (and including a link to put my username and password in) when my anti-virus bought an immediate halt to proceedings and strongly advised against inputting anything as it was a phishing website. My 15 year old son takes care of all the e-baying in my house as he can do it all a million times quicker than me.
Besides, soon I will be putting an Audi RS6 front grille on e-bay (as soon as there is a cheap listing day) so if you want one then keep an eye out.
