Hi Guys / Gals,Last week, I started up my A3 (1998 model) and the temperature warning light came on - It beeped at me three times and the light just flashes for about a minute or two. Now the gauge just stays at 60 (I think that's the fuirst number of the left) and doesn't move. After a while the light goes off and everything looks fine for a while, then when I'm down the road, the lights comes on again and flashes beeps and all sorts at me before going off for a second time.I know that it's been really cold alately and that you should take care to warm the engine up first, but I've never heard anything about the temperature gauge going off because it's too cold. Could there be a problem with the sensors / gauge itself? If there is something that needs replacing, will the local garage know how to replace it, or will it be a dealership jobby? Also, I'm in need of some spares for the car. First of all, in my manual it states that my dashboard should show the temperature outside with a load of other bits of info (it's not a proper computerised dash though) however nothign shows up in the two small bars in the middle of the dash - is this a problem with my car or is it just a feature that my car never had installed? It doesn't state anything in the manual about it being an optional extra. Also I need a new glvoe box, and cigarette tray. Every time I go over a bump, does the tray drop, and the door on the glove box has completely gone. Any ideas on where I can get some spares from for this? I currently live in Sheffield, so somewhere close would be advantageous. Finally, when I lock my car, if I go back to it (for example, if I've left something inside) I have to wait for this buzzing type noise in the boot to stop before I can unlock the car again. I don't have a remote for locking, but I was wondering if I could get one sorted out for my car. I know that it would need a receiver or somthing as it's not got it installed.Lot of questions I know, but a little advice woul dbe great, especially prices, who and how etc. Many thanks!Ian
