Hi All,

I am new to Audi and VAGCOM. Tried searching through some of the archives but can't easily see the answer to my questions.

Firstly I have a 2002 A6 2.7T. Where is the VAGCOM connection port in the car?

Secondly which lead do I need to connect to it.

Lastly is there any chance the same lead / software would also work on my partners 2002 A4 3.0?

you should be able to use the same cable and software for both cars.

check the application charts here. you can either can a CAN bus cable or the key usb cable i think. check out the charts anyway

at the bottom of the charts, are the port locations.

you can also download the shareware (free, but limited) version of VAG-COM from that site.

for the cables, try either ebay, or eshrules on this site also sells cables.
