Please help! I have a 6 month old 2.0 TDI Sport with rain and light sensors.

I've had a rattle since new that I thought was coming from behind the dash, but I now suspect it may be coming from the black plastic cover that sits behind the rear view mirror and covers the rain sensor.

This cover feels a bit loose (slightly) to me, but I have no idea how they are held in place or if it is normal for them to move a little. Can anyone tell me how they are fixed in place and how I can possibly remove it (the cover) to check it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Three trips to the dealer and I still have a rattle! (but to be fair I've only just started to suspect it could be the rain sensor cover, it's so difficult to tell where these noises come from).

    Cheers
    David

The black cover splits down the middle vertical line and clips together to reassemble.

If you squeeze gently either side of where it joins (using both hands), it will just pop apart.
