    recently bought an S3 225bhp n love it.. however, my bro has a mk3 golf vr6 n although i nail him round bends, in a straight line his car pulls away from 60mph onwards, wat effect will chipping my s3 have performance wise? will i b able to smoke the vr6??!! i wanna show him audi is the way forward, he veedub all the way so if a chip will help.. bring it on!

    I chipped my S3, bhp now 240 from 210 and it goes much better. Never driven a 225bhp model so can't comment on difference between yours and mine though.

    If you havent already fitting an exhaust and induction kit aswell as a front mount intercooler and upping the boost will give you a marked improvement in not only bhp but also in toque which is why the VR6 will pull away from you at 60mph onwards hope that helps

    Now that would be fun. Just all depends on your budget. Obviously fitting a chip is one of the easier ways for a good improvement in power but if you want more and then decide to fit a full system induction kit turbo FMIC etc you will need a session on the dyno to ensure fuelings correct, boost etc to get the most out of the mods.

    We did a LCR yesterday, it had a decat and full system. With the stock map it made 225hp and 230lbft to a massive 277.1 and 310lbft after the software! (measured on Dyno Dynamics)
