hey im new, have few questions

hi im mike, from near manchester.
havnt got audi as yet, but am getting a a4 diesel in few months for work as petrol is costing me too much.

right have a few questions on behalf of a friend with audi a4(96)
he has bought a splitter for the front and wanting to know how to remove black bit of bumper at bottom to put new splitter on, its a a4 quattro diesel standard, also his temp gauge and fuel consumption digi gauges in the dash arnt coming on, not sure if its as simple as fuse or its the component itself. he hasnt got a manual so dont know which fuse its related to

any help on these problems is much appreciated, i will become a more regular poster once i get my a4.

if people can reply tonight if possible suppose to be sorting spoiler tomorrow morning and was more of a idea bt il try anyway but more guidance will shorten the time it takes

thanks for welcome, ive already done that just waiting for replies. if anyone has a a4 1.9tdi for sale or coming up for sale i will be lookin in just over a month or so for one. good to see 1st person who replies is actually local to me, good for future if need help if its offered
