wasnt aware of 205 width B6 tyres, i thougth 215 was standard and 235 was sport/s width...for my 235s im likely getting goodyear eagles next for about £100 a tyre (try blackcircles online)

£100 is a lot of money for the F1 GSD3, We supply and fit these in this size for £75 inc VAT, Valve, Balance etc. Online suppliers of tyres may seem cheaper, but shop around your local independant dealers, you'll be suprised!!

    i thought the standard was 215 45 16--

Cheak the part number on the back of the alloy... (check the spare) and quote and then we can compare..

2 years.... thats good... how many miles>??

i have used "budget tyres" for the last 2 years on mine,.... cost £100.00 for 2 on the front.. Worked fine in the wet and dry.. and i dont drive like miss daisy..

From a budget tyre, i pull off around 15k per year... when i was using P1's, SP Sports, and mich i was only getting around 20k, so for the cost i went cheaper as in the long term its saves me cash..

It all depends on the roads you drive i guess....

    Rick

I seem to remember that the Pirelli tyres wear so quickly because they are made of a soft compound which is supposed to give good grip. My son used to go through a pair of these tyres in 6 months !!! (front wheel drive)

I have been getting between 30 and 35k from Dunlop SP30 tyres. They seem to be pretty good on economy and are quiet too.
