So I drove my car today (Mk3 2.0) and parked it. When I was trying to start it back up later on it didn’t want to turn on. The only way it turns on is if I let it sit for about 30 min.. This happened to me once before but this time I had the check engine light turn on and I did a vag-com scan with these result…. Anyone know wut might be up??

I appreciate any help!! Thank You.

oo i also drove it and it develops that judder/misfire problem. When i accelerate the car seems to suffer from a misfire and it feels like it's being pulled back!

I wasnt sure if were asking for the number on the block which is 037 AD or there was a sticker with a code and it is ABA 528180. If I didnt get either one right let me know where to look for the right code... thanks

ABA is correct. The road speed signal is viewed in measuring blocks 08, display group 005 display zone 3. If your instruments speedo works and there is no display of speed in the function above then the fault usually lies at either the speed signal junction box on top of the fuse plate (basically just a little junction box with blue plugs going into it with thin blue/white wires) or the blue/white connection to the radio is connected to something it should not be. Pull the radio out (I guess now it is an aftermarket unit) and see what the cars blue/white wire is connected to. It is only used to send a road speed signal to the radio for speed related volume increase, what VW call a “Gala” function.

16684 or P0300 is Random Misfire Detected and can be faulty ignition HT components or the engine speed sensor so as you have replaced the complete HT system with quality new parts, the next would be to replace the engine speed sensor BUT I would suggest firstly carrying out a compression test and also checking thoroughly around the inlet manifold for air leaks using a leak detector spray.
