A 6 front bumpers

Hello all, I am new to this site so apologies if it looks like I havent got the hang of it yet.
I drive an A6 2.4 auto 52 plate, my previous A6's were a 1.9 tdi and a 2.5 tdi Quattro.I dont expect I can offer much advice at this stage, however any previous experiences I have had I would be more than willing to share if it helps anyone.
The question I have is, can anyone advise me if the new style front bumpers with the big grille, can they be fitted to the older models, ie my 52 plate A6.
I have asked at various places including Audi dealers and no-one can tell me yes or no. Thank you in advance for any advice.

I have seen it done. If I can find the link I'll post it.

I'm not sure if I like it or not though? One thing I do seem to remember is that it was a lot more work than it first looks.....
