    Hello all,

Recently got an 06 Golf GTI with the folding mirrors. They ony seem to do the folding in and out bit if I have my key in the ignition. Is that normal? Quite frustrating if you get out of the car, realise you haven't done them, get back in, put in the key.........

Also, There's a small button inside the ashtray/cubby hole above the gear shift next to the 12V outlet. Does anyone know what it does?

    Many thanks, Matt

I have a Gti30 with folding mirrors, try this, when locking the car from the outside, keep the lock button pressed for about 10secs, any open windows automatically close and the mirrors fold,
    hope yours does the same!
