    Question 2.0T GTI Recall Re-map – 01-02-2008,09:27 AM
    Hi,
    My GTI went in for some warranty work and I was told that there was a re-call for the enginge remapping has anyone else had this done, and does anyone know what the changes do? The agent wasn't very forthcoming.

    i'm thinking you might be talking about a software update..?

    lumpy engine up date but still lumpy..

    My Dealer just called my car (GTi 05) in for the software check, its a remap check to see if its been modified, beware if your cars on VW finance, If its been remapped they wont be best pleased!
