Hi guys, i`ve got a 52reg A3 with 16" alloys but i would like to fit some bigger ones from the audi range but have been told that alloys from the newer A3`s wont fit, is this true ??, and have you any idea what models i could get alloys from to fit ???

You could get the 17" 9 spoke alloys that you see on various A3/A4/A6 Sports. They improve the look from the standard ones without giving it the 4x4 look.

This is true. You can not fit the wheels from the new style A3 as they have a slighlty different stud pattern. You could fit the 18's off of a TT/S3, the 17's off of a TT/S3 or the 17inch 9 spoke from the late 1.8T Quattro Sport (all pre 53 plate cars). They come up on E-bay quite a bit.
